World Menopause Day is held every year on 18 October during World Menopause Month, to raise awareness of the menopause and highlight the support options available for those experiencing it.

There are a number of resources available to UCL staff, whether you’re experiencing the menopause yourself, or if you’d like to find out more:

This online webinar on 16 October , hosted by the InTune programme and the UCL EGA Institute for Women’s Health, will focus on Understanding HRT, in line with this year’s Menopause Awareness Day theme of menopause hormone therapy.

UCL’s Menopause Network provides a safe and friendly space for colleagues to share information and experiences. They run a regular ’(Meno) Pause for Thought’ coffee morning where you can connect with each other over a cuppa.

What I want my colleagues to know about menopause is a short training programme on the LearnUpon platform, developed in consultation with colleagues experiencing the menopause.

UCL’s menopause guidance provides all staff with guidelines on providing and receiving the right support to manage menopausal symptoms at work.
