Four UCL scientists elected to the Academy of Medical Sciences

Four of UCL's leading medical researchers have been recognised for excellence in medical science with their election to the Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences:. Professor Sir John Tooke, UCL Vice-Provost (Health), paid tribute to the expertise of the new Fellows, noting: 'I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my colleagues who have been elected to the Fellowship of the Academy. It is a measure of their standing and contribution to medical science and is richly deserved. This recognition demonstrates once more the diversity of talent and the outstanding intellectual environment at UCL.'
