Assistant Clinical Professor (Teaching Focused) Permanent, part-time position (0.2FTE / 7.3 hours per week) - Thursdays. Warwick Medical School (WMS) has the largest Graduate Entry Medicine (MB ChB) programme in the UK, attracting highly motivated students from all educational backgrounds and producing excellent medical graduates. We are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Clinical Professor (Thursdays). You will be involved in the development and delivery of the General Practice Specialist Clinical Placement (SCP) teaching for students in years 3-4 of our curriculum. Teaching is for a full day on a Thursday and delivered face to face, on campus. You will also be involved in mentoring GP practices used for undergraduate placements and contributing to annual training for practice tutors. The Warwick Medical School MB ChB is a 4 year accelerated, graduate entry-only course. The curriculum takes an integrated, case-based learning approach which is reflected in the SCP teaching. About You You must be a working GP with experience in general practice / community-based clinical education at undergraduate and or postgraduate levels. On-going professional development as a teacher is supported; you will be expected to complete the PGA in Medical Education if you do not already hold an equivalent qualification and are encouraged to progress to the Certificate in Medical Education.
