Salary: £52,291 (per annum) pro-rata Permanent position, 0.4 FTE (working days to include Thursday and Friday) T he graduate-entry MBChB programme at Warwick Medical School (WMS) is the largest in the UK, attracting graduates from both science and non-science backgrounds. Its modern medical programme is delivered by a dynamic and forward-thinking team of academics and clinicians. About You WMS is seeking to recruit a part time (0.4 FTE) Clinical Education Fellow (CEF) to support the delivery and development of learning material throughout Phase III, but with a specific focus on Academic Days. This post would be ideally suited for applicants who are able to combine these duties alongside an active clinical role. You will support the delivery of teaching on Academic Days (fortnightly whole-cohort teaching days), as well as development of other learning resources including Case-Based Learning (CBL), and the development of self-directed learning materials. You will become a trained case based learning facilitator with further opportunities to become involved in virtual patients, e-learning development, assessment, quality assurance, personal tutoring and faculty development. You will be enrolled on modules working towards the Certificate in Medical Education and supported in their career progression. You will also be encouraged to contribute to departmental education meetings. This post is designed as a career development opportunity in Medical Education, ideal for early-career clinical staff looking to progress along a clinical academic route.
