Working together for an earlier publication
We are delighted that programmes approved for publication at launch last week improved from 88% last year to 94% this year. This is an incredible achievement and we appreciate the co-operation of the Faculty Communications and Marketing teams in accomplishing this and for their responsiveness to our feedback, as well as the programme summary editors across UCL, who gathered, input and approved marketing content for the Prospectus. Only a handful of programmes now remain to be published; faculties are aware of and addressing the outstanding issues with these.
Copy call for the online Graduate Prospectus began on 19 May and ended on 18 July, two months earlier than last year. Its publication in August gives us the opportunity to increase student recruitment by targeting highly qualified candidates who are active early in the cycle and allowing more time for conversion.
Students can access the prospectus before applications open (in October), and our course pages have longer to climb search rankings. UCL is currently leading our competitors - Imperial, King’s, LSE, Manchester, Oxford and Cambridge are still promoting courses for 2025/26 entry.
We are grateful to our colleagues in Academic Services (particularly CIM Services), Admissions, Digital Experience and Student Fees for their work and continued support in providing an improved user experience. If you have any queries or comments, please contact the VPEE Publications team.
