Hazaar is a sustainable student marketplace app for buying and selling second-hand, but with a unique advantage against other external options. The main advantage of this app is that it allows you to buy and sell your items to other UCL students directly on campus. You meet up to deliver in person, saving on postage and packaging, which reduces the carbon emissions of standard marketplace apps. To help kickstart the launch at UCL, they are now hiring for the role of Head of Hazaar. This is perfect for students who have an eye for marketing, business, and sustainability. The person that succeeds in this role will join the Hazaar team and lead on driving brand awareness and engagement at UCL. This is a paid role, at the hourly living wage for London students of £13.15 an hour, with a requirement to work 4-6 hours a week around your studies.
