Sussex bee professor inspires Brighton art exhibit

Sussex bee professor inspires Brighton art exhibit. A vibrant arts installation in central Brighton is based on the research of University of Sussex bee expert, Professor Dave Goulson. 'Lost & Found' is a challenging multi-media visual arts exhibition that explores links between our consumer culture and the decline of the natural world. Launched in Oxford in 2014, the project is based on research by Professor of Biology Dave Goulson and his team at the University of Sussex, along with scientists at Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Professor Goulson says: "Britain supports a rich variety of wildlife, but it is in rapid decline. The ultimately futile drive for endless economic growth on a finite planet seems to have become our overriding priority, and our wildlife and the countryside we all cherish is paying the price. "For instance, bees and other pollinators are a vital part of the food chain that keeps us alive.
