
Council is UCL’s governing body, overseeing the management and administration of the university and the conduct of its affairs. It approves UCL’s mission and strategic vision and its long-term academic and business plans. It meets regularly through the year and UCL staff and students are reminded that they are welcome to submit feedback and views to Council for consideration as part of its discussions.
Key issues currently scheduled to be discussion at Council meetings for the remainder of this academic year are:
- Definitions of antisemitism, including the IHRA definition (24 March)
- EDI data report (24 March)
- Approaches to branding, including the Bicentenary (21 April)
- Strategic Plan Delivery Framework (21 April)
- First Strategic Plan progress report and ’Strat Plan mobilisation report’ (19 June)
- UCL Budget 2023/24 (19 June)
- Approach to risk Including Strategic Risk Register (13 July)
- SU Budget 2023/24 (13 July)
