The Student Welcome and Induction period kicked off on Tuesday 20 September on the Bloomsbury campus. The services and activities now available to new students include: - ID card collection service BRP collection service Visa Check & Send service In-person Helpdesks (which include Enrolment, Fees, Admissions, Visa Support and IT services) Health and Wellbeing hub (which includes support with GP registrations) - These services are open 9-5pm during the weekdays, with a closure between 12.30-13.30pm. Alongside these essential services, there are hundreds of Students Union events, activities and performances in the main quad marquee, stage and Wilkins Terrace, and for the first time this year we are hosting a 'Support Services Fair' in the North Cloisters (26 - 28 September, 10.30am-15.00pm) and a student delivered 'UCL101: a guide to your first term' talk for first year undergraduates and postgraduate taught students. These activities and services are bringing large crowds of students onto the main campus, particularly in the Wilkins Building and the main quad. Many services require bookings (e.g. ID cards and BRP collections), so we are doing our best to manage queues, but we apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the one-way systems, crowds or noise during this period.
