Residential Hall Warden - Job opportunity

UCL students

UCL students

Student Support and Wellbeing is seeking a Residential Hall Warden to be responsible for providing out-of-hours wellbeing support and crisis intervention in UCL halls and houses.

Wardens manage and support teams of Student Residence Advisers (SRA) which, in turn, help students to settle into their new life in halls by encouraging a harmonious social atmosphere, maintaining order, and advising students with pastoral issues. Wardens support their SRAs to organise and host inclusive community building events, and help residents become familiar with the hall and local surroundings.

The post holder will be required to reside within the Halls of Residence. A self-contained flat (or equivalent accommodation, appropriate to the needs of the Warden) is offered free of charge for this purpose. In addition, the post holder will receive a stipendiary payment of £4,000 per annum. For full details, job description and person specification,  please see the UCL job portal. Applications close on 6 May.
