Personal Academic Tutors across UCL can access a new digital platform to support their role from the start of the 2024/25 academic year.

The Personal Academic Tutoring dashboard (PATd) will help staff to easily find relevant data to help support students and their academic progress.

The new dashboard will allow tutors to:
  • Review tutees’ attendance (pulling data from RegisterUCL); and
  • Review tutees’ academic progress (pulling data from Portico).

We hope that in time the dashboard will also flag if a student has a Statement of Reasonable Adjustment (SoRA), monitor Personal Academic Tutoring meeting attendance, store meeting records and manage student references.

The dashboard can be accessed directly from the Personal Academic Tutoring webpage. For more information on how to use the dashboard, please read the Knowledge Base article , which includes answers to frequently asked questions.

Thhe development of the dashboard forms part of a wider project at UCL that will see us bring in more robust operational procedures for academic support, and improvements in the quality and availability of student data. The dashboard is one of several recommendations arising from the Personal Tutor Review.
