The theme for this year’s International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) is ’Together always: united in diversity’, celebrating and advocating for the rights of people across the world with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.
The day also serves as a reminder that people across the world still experience violence and discrimination directly because of their diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions or sex characteristics. IDAHOBIT is currently celebrated in more than 130 countries, including 37 countries where same-sex acts are illegal.
It should go without saying that discriminatory behaviour, bullying and harassment will not be tolerated at UCL and that all our students and staff should be able to bring their whole selves to work without fear of prejudice.
If you experience or witness any kind of bullying or harassment at UCL, please do report this via the Report + Support tool - you have the choice to report anonymously, or give contact details if you wish to.
