Two students sit working on their laptop Help shape the future of askUCL, the 24/7 self-help centre and enquiry hub for students! We are offering first year students the opportunity to get involved with the evolution of our online self-help centre, askUCL. We will look at how you use the platform and understand the features you are most interested in. No prior knowledge of askUCL or any other UCL system is required. To take part, you will need a laptop or desktop running MS Teams, with a microphone and webcam enabled. It may be a good idea to find a quiet space for the session and you will need to share your screen with our Digital Experience team. Please note that sessions will be recorded and your data will be shared with the team (in line with UK GDPR guidelines) to feed into the improvement of the platform. During the 45-minute session, you will be asked about your views of some student systems and how you find student information. Additionally, there will be a few interactive tasks using a mock-up of a new online student help centre. Sessions will be held in the week commencing 4 March 2024 and will be with UCL staff from the Digital Experience team - one principal moderator (UX Researcher - Arren Rathbone Ariel) and additional observer (UX Writer - Michael Woolley).
