’Faith in suburbia: a shared photographic journey’, a collaborative exhibition between UCL geographer Claire Dwyer, award-winning photographer Liz Hingley and six senior members of faith communities in West London, is now on display in the South Cloisters.
The senior citizens visited each other’s places of worship to took photographs, and then worked with Liz Hingley to create six striking ’faith banners’, which make up the exhibition. Each banner is accompanied by portraits of the participants and a set of panels tracing religious change in the suburbs.
The exhibition will be on display at UCL until the end of January, before moving to the Gunnersbury Park Museum in Ealing until June.
