Christmas tree and lights in the Quad at dusk, Christmas 2020 - UCL's Christmas closure has been extended by one day to include Thursday, 23 December 2021. UCL's University Management Committee (UMC) have extended UCL's Christmas closure by one day, in recognition of our community's hard work over a difficult year. UCL's Christmas closure will therefore now run from 5.30pm on Wednesday, 22 December 2021 to 9am on Tuesday, 4 January 2022. If you have already booked 23 December as leave with MyHR then please do not cancel this yourself as HR Services will complete this process for you and the hours for this date returned to your leave balance. If you have booked 23 December as part of a extended leave booking (i.e taking leave from 21 December through 5 January) then please arrange to cancel this booking yourself and rebook these dates as required. December will be added to the MyHR as a Company Closure Day later today and will not be available to booked on. In line with the above, we have also moved forward the December salary pay date to Wednesday 22 December 2021.
