Disagreeing Well on Diplomacy: 3 July 2025

As the United Nations turns 80 this year, Disagreeing Well turns to the question: how effective have diplomatic institutions been in resolving global crises?

Join us on 3 July, where the Bloomsbury Theatre will host leading voices in diplomacy and international relations. Featuring Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Helen Clark, and chaired by UCL expert Professor Kristin M Bakke, the event will examine the role of diplomatic bodies in mediating and resolving crises.

Together with questions from the audience, we’ll explore whether traditional diplomacy can still deliver peace in a fractured world.
