Looking for affordable accommodation in London this summer? You can stay in UCL summer residences from June to September 2025. Bookings will open on Monday, 6 January 2025.
Every year UCL opens selected Halls to the public and provides great-value accommodation options for groups of all sizes. In Summer 2025 the Halls will be open from Friday, 23 June to Sunday, 7 September 2025.
Located conveniently in Central and East London, UCL offers accommodation in 18 sites with various room types, including single rooms, twin rooms, ensuites, and studios.
This safe and comfortable alternative to hotels allows you to maximise your experience of visiting, studying, or sightseeing in London. Whether you, your family, or friends are planning to attend events, take on a summer internship, or explore the city, you’ll find something to suit your needs.
How does it work?
During the summer period, vacant rooms in UCL Accommodation are cleared and cleaned in preparation for guests. Bookings are open to the public. You can choose where to live, book your stay online, and check in conveniently. Your stay will be supported by the Hall Team onsite.

Bookings
For individual bookings, from one night to the whole summer, you can book directly through the UCL Summer Residences website via our online system.
For group bookings (10+ people), please complete the form on the Group Bookings page. The dedicated Commercial Booking team will get in touch discuss your options and requirements.
Bookings will start on Monday, 6 January 2025. We recommend you apply early for the best availability.
Discounts
UCL staff, students and alumni are eligible to receive 10% discount on their booking. To access this, please email guest-bookings@ucl.ac.uk for the discount code.
