2024-25 results and awards to be published from 8 July

If you undertook assessments this academic year, your assessment results will be sent to your UCL email address on Tuesday 8 July.

Your assessment results will be emailed to your UCL email address on Tuesday 8 July. 

You may receive your results at a different time to other students on this day, as our systems send the emails in large batches. Any results displayed on WISEflow before 8 July are provisional.

Late Summer Assessment  

If you have failed or deferred an assessment for 2024-25 modules, this information will be detailed in your results email.  

The Late Summer Assessment period takes place from 18 August to 5 September. The examination timetable will be shared with those students on Thursday 24 July. 

Some assessments organised by your department may not appear on this timetable. If this affects you, your department will let you know the details. 

Certificates and transcripts  

Transcripts  

A transcript is an official record of your confirmed academic results. You can order an e-transcript which is an official electronic version that can be used for third party verification purposes.  

Finalists will be able to download a self-serve e-transcript directly from Portico from the Wednesday 9 July. Self-serve e-transcripts may be for your own records or share it for third party verification.  Find out more about transcripts.    

Final degree documents  

If you’re a final year undergraduate student attending a graduation ceremony in September, you will receive your degree documents at the graduation ceremony.  

If you’re a final year undergraduate not attending graduation or a postgraduate student, your degree documents will be posted to your home address on Portico within three months from the release of your results. Please make sure that your home address details are up to date on Portico. 

If your home address is outside the UK, the ’address look-up’ function on Portico may generate inaccurate results, so please enter your address manually. It is essential to complete the City, Province/State/Region, Zipcode and Country fields correctly.     

Tip: Use the home address of a family member or friend who can receive your documents on your behalf if you will be moving in the coming months.

Statement of Award  

Final year students will be able to download a Statement of Award letter from Portico from Wednesday 9 July. This is an official letter that can be used as proof that your award was conferred by UCL   

Digital Award Certificates  

Your Digital Award Certificate will provide a secure record of achievements as verified by UCL that you can share with third parties and employers.   

Digital Award Certificates and Higher Education Achievement Records issued by UCL’s partner Gradintelligence. These are compliant with international standards and are legally valid, tamper-proof documents.  

Typically, you will be able to access your Digital Award Certificate within two weeks of receiving your results. Our partners Gradintelligence will send you an email inviting you to activate your account. Once activated, you will be able to view and share your Digital Award Certificate. Find support  

Sometimes, exam results do not go as planned. If you feel disappointed with your results, Student Support and Wellbeing Services can offer some advice and help.

If you want to appeal your results, you can submit an Academic Appeal , with support from the UCL Students’ Union Advice Service.
