This role is open to University of Leeds employees only.

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Do you want to enhance the employability prospects of students and graduates? Can you work across the University providing advice and guidance to students through the curriculum, group work and one-to-one interactions?

We are seeking a student-centred Careers Consultant to join our Student Careers service. Working as part of the Directorate of Student Experience and Support, you will deliver high quality careers information, advice, and guidance to students and graduates through online and face to face interventions for individuals and groups. You will support the development and delivery of curriculum career development modules, working closely with academics. You will be expected to manage competing priorities, and to build professional relationships with key colleagues across the university and with employer partners. Further, you will be expected to work innovatively, collaboratively, and flexibly, within a culture of continuous improvement.

In the first instance you will be based in The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS), however over the course of your role this may change according to business and personal development needs of the service.
