2014 is such an exciting year for Glasgow with the Commonwealth Games and Homecoming at the top of the city's event calendar. It seemed the perfect opportunity to celebrate the city through photography. We asked our students and followers to send us photos that showed off the best of Glasgow. The photos could be more well-known spots around the city, or hidden gems. People submitted their photos via our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles and we received hundreds of fantastic entries. The calibre was so high, it was fitting to showcase some highly commended photos as well as the winners.
