UNC-King’s Alliance launches partnership website

King's College London and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), strategic partners since 2006, have announced the launch of a joint online gateway dedicated to giving information to students and staff about the alliance and highlighting the breadth and depth of the strategic partnership. The Alliance offers opportunities for student exchange, faculty exchange and research collaboration in disciplines ranging from the arts to the health sciences. The site has been developed jointly by King's Worldwide, a College office overseeing the development and implementation of the King's International Strategy, and UNC Global, a similar enterprise that is responsible for the strategic execution of UNC's internationalisation objectives. King's now has College-level strategic partnership agreements with seven universities worldwide, as part of its strategy to encourage research collaboration and exchange of staff and students. The UNC-King's Strategic Alliance website was launched on Friday 10 February and is the result of a university-wide collaboration between both institutions. UNC-Chapel Hill and King's have developed a wide-ranging Strategic Alliance that combines the strengths of two global academic research institutions. The Alliance was initially signed in 2006 between UNC College of Arts and Sciences and King's Schools of Arts & Humanities and Social Science and Public Policy.
