Strand Campus update

Since King's has acquired the iconic and extensive Bush House buildings, the university is naturally reviewing its requirements on its historic Strand Campus. As a result, we are proposing to sell the Macadam building at the junction of Temple Place and Surrey Street and investigating the potential vacation and sale of a small number of other existing buildings in Surrey Street, which hold great potential value for a buyer wanting a central London location, but provide less ideal accommodation for a world-class university. The development of a larger Campus overall, teamed with the potential financial benefits of a property sale will enable King's to further invest in and improve the student experience, maintaining our focus on providing high-quality teaching and excellent research.
