London attacks
We are shocked and saddened by the news of the terror attack which took place on Saturday 3 June. Our thoughts are with those who have been affected, and we thank the brave actions of all the emergency services involved. As a safety precaution, all of our university buildings (campuses and halls of residence) were immediately placed in lock down and currently remain so. This means that all external entrances have been secured with the exception of the main entrances to the buildings and halls of residences. Staff and students can still access these buildings provided they show their King's ID passes. The lock down will remain in place until at least 08:00 tomorrow [Monday 5 June], but may change as more information comes to light. Please note, the Metropolitan Police has set up dedicated hotlines on 0800 096 1233 or 0207 158 0197 for people who are concerned about friends or relatives who were in the area.
