In this varied and high-impact position, you will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality internal communications and engagement activities. You will create compelling content for our internal channels, coordinate key institutional events, and help ensure our staff and students feel informed, connected, and valued.

A major part of the role is leading the end-to-end delivery of an annual programme of staff events for the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, celebrating success, championing inclusion, and bringing our values to life. In 2026 and 2027, this will include our flagship Annual Staff Awards. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and professional services teams, contributing to a consistent, engaging internal communications approach across the institution.

  2. Event Leadership & Delivery Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of major staff events (including the Annual Staff Awards) managing logistics, suppliers, budgets, and on-the-day coordination.
  3. Stakeholder & Community Engagement Build strong relationships across academic and professional services teams, supporting colleagues with advice on internal communications and event coordination.
  4. Content Creation & Channel Development Produce high-quality written, visual, and digital content, support the improvement of internal communication platforms, and contribute to staff and student engagement campaigns.
