Dr. Maria Pampaka, who is a Lecturer in Social Statistics, has contributed to an evaluation of a government policy aimed at improving maths education and learning amongst children aged 11 to 13 years old.
The intervention involved 109 schools and 20,827 pupils and had the aim of increasing mathematical competence and confidence at Key Stage 3.
