Join us for this term’s all-staff Town Hall meeting on 21 February for a chance to ask UCL leadership your questions and join a conversation on our new Estates Masterplan.

As outlined in UCL’s Strategic Plan 2022-2027 and the supporting Estates Strategy , our Estate plays a crucial role in enabling our academic and strategic ambitions as a university. We are inviting you to join a conversation about our long-term academic ambitions, and how this informs the development of our new Estates Masterplan.

The Estates Masterplan will set out the use of our extensive estate for the next 25 years to inspire and enable the very best in our students and staff, with sustainability, inclusivity, and student and staff welfare at its heart.

We will share some of our aims and aspirations behind our Masterplan, as well as some of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. We’ll also let you know how you can get involved to ensure that the eventual plan will truly be ’by all and for all’.

You are warmly invited to contribute to this conversation about UCL’s future plans for its estate by sharing your insights and experiences, and to put your questions to our panel.

Our panel on the Estates Masterplan will include:
  • Dr Michael Spence, President & Provost
  • Aimie Chapple, Vice President (Operations)
  • Julie Whetton, Executive Director of Estates Development
  • Professor Paola Lettieri, Vice Provost (Strategy)
