Go Albion, go Albion, go go go!
The local football club’s long-awaited return to the top flight after more than 30 years is now tantalisingly close – and the city’s two universities hope that a video of ‘good luck’ messages will give the team the support they need in the last few matches.
Two teams go up automatically from the Championship to the Premier League – and Brighton & Hove Albion Club have been in and around the top two for most of the season.
Fans could be celebrating promotion over the Easter weekend if success is sealed with victories in the club’s two matches on good Friday and Easter Monday.
The Albion have lots of supporters at both the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex, and the joint video will be shared widely on social media over the Easter weekend to give the team a final boost.
