The Department of Politics has been strengthened by Dr Rosenblatt joining as Senior Lecturer in Comparative Politics.
Dr Rosenblatt’s research focuses on comparative politics, Latin American politics, democratic representation, parties and party systems.He completed his PhD at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and his book Party Vibrancy and Democracy in Latin America was published in 2018 by Oxford University Press. In 2020, he published the co-authored book How Party Activism Survives: Uruguay’s Frente Amplio with Cambridge University Press.
Rosenblatt has published widely in journals like Comparative Politics, Governance, Party Politics and Comparative Political Studies. He will be joining the Comparative Politics research cluster at Manchester.
