Professor Ian White, Vice-Chancellor and President, said: "This is an extraordinary achievement and I pay tribute to all those staff across our University community whose dedicated work has contributed to these results. Our teaching staff and all those who support our students have worked exceptionally hard this year to give the best possible experience despite the Covid restrictions in place. My congratulations to them all.
"I am delighted that despite the considerable challenges the last academic year has posed for the entire education sector, so many of our students at Bath are satisfied with their education and we continue to meet their needs and expectations."
Professor Peter Lambert, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching), said: "I’m absolutely delighted with this fantastic result, which reflects the hard work and huge collective effort from academic and professional services colleagues across the entire University. I would like to congratulate everyone involved and offer my thanks for their significant efforts this year.
"I am incredibly proud of such a positive result given all the challenges and uncertainty that we have had to face throughout the academic year due to Covid-19 from online teaching and assessment to the academic and personal support our staff have offered to students.
"I would also link to say a sincere thank you to The SU and all our students who have shown great resilience and strength under extremely difficult circumstances. As always, we will seek to learn from NSS feedback to help us to continue to provide the best possible experience for our students so we can help everyone fulfil their potential. But for now this is a wonderful way to finish a very challenging year"
