Anti-Bullying Week takes place this year from 14-18 November. Find out what to do if you’re the victim of bullying or unacceptable behaviour, and how to take a stand if you’re a bystander.

The theme of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week is ’Reach Out’, a choice reflective of the change that we can enact through challenging bullying behaviour and showing each other support when we need it.

Bullying affects millions of people, but it doesn’t have to be this way. You can Reach Out to someone you witness being bullied; you can Reach Out to counter bullying behaviour; and you can Reach Out to help bring about positive changes.

Ways to take a stand against bullying

Report any incidents via UCL’s Report + Support tool

Any form of bullying or harassment is unacceptable, and UCL will take any allegations very seriously. All UCL students and staff can report anonymously, or with their contact details.

our dedicated webpage  for more information and guidance about making a report and receiving support. You can also find FAQs about Report + Support by visiting this page.

The Active Bystander Programme

Don’t stand by - stand up. We want everyone to be an Active Bystander and call out problematic behaviour like bullying. Thousands of students have already taken the short online course and in-person workshop and learnt how to make safe interventions when they witness bullying, harassment, or sexual misconduct both onand off-campus.

Together, we can make UCL a place free from all forms of harassment. Join the movement today.

Theatre workshop: Bullying and Harassment Support

This interactive workshop , brought to you by Adrian Jackson MBE will focus on the interactions and contexts around how to manage situations in academia that could be perceived as bullying or instances of harassment.
