With a junior research group, you can work very independently at an early stage in your academic career and you gain valuable experience, which will serve as an excellent preparation for a professorship. YIG Prep Pro provides the best conditions for writing a successful proposal for a third-party funded junior research group. You will need to pass a highly competitive procedure which we will accompany you through with professional mentorship, personal advice on funding instruments and proposal writing as well as individual training and coaching. The YIG Prep Pro qualifies you for an academic career with the goal of becoming a professor. YIG Prep Pro Fellowship options: We offer international postdocs a support scheme with two different fellowship options: 1. YIG Prep Pro funded fellowship
2. YIG Prep Pro remote fellowship
Who can apply? International researchers, with a PhD certificate who completed their doctorate no more than 3 years ago. Applicants should have substantial international research experience (as PhD candidate and/or postdoc). | |
