DescriptionIn your functions, you will have to : Teaching (45%) Six hours a week of teaching throughout the year, at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Additionally supervision of Master’s dissertations and PhD theses. Research (45%) The post-holder will pursue research in the sociology of gender and sport. They will also conduct research in conjunction with international sporting organisations, which are well represented in the local context. They will be expected to produce international-level academic research publications. The post-holder will also collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Sports Research (CIR Sport) and the future Global Observatory for Gender Equality & Sport (UNESCO). They will also seek external funding, in particular from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). Administrative responsibilities (10%) In accordance with statutory requirements and in the name of collegiality, the post-holder will take on any administrative tasks that may be assigned to them by the Institute, Faculty, University or university decision-making bodies. | |
