DescriptionWe are seeking candidates with a competitive research program in animal/veterinary physiology. An emphasis on livestock physiology is preferred. Possible research topics include (but are not limited to): endocrinology, immunophysiology, lactation biology, metabolism, nutritional physiology, omics technologies, resilience, stress physiology, systems biology. | |
RequirementsApplicants should have demonstrated success at independent research following a PhD or equivalent academic credentials in agricultural, biology or veterinary sciences or related disciplines. Successful candidates are expected to develop a strong research program, to supervise master and doctoral students (DVM and/or PhD) and to contribute to teaching. Teaching assignments will comprise veterinary physiology as well as animal nutrition for students of veterinary medicine. The successful candidate should have at least basic knowledge of the German and/or French languages, and be willing to improve these language skills as needed to efficiently teach students and communicate with national institutions.
