DescriptionYour tasks
Our group develops innovative vaccines against antimicrobial resistant bacterial pathogens in cooperation with a Swiss biotech company. We intend to use recombinant E. coli to produce a multivalent vaccine using a revolutionary platform approach. For the novel platform, genetically modified E. coli strains have to be established, and different vaccine products are produced and characterized. The immune protection of the different vaccine products will be tested in collaboration with our Australian University partner in preclinical models. In addition, cellular assay will be used to investigate on immune activation pathways for optimal mode of action of the vaccines. We are looking for you to work in this interdisciplinary, fascinating, and application-oriented project.
The position is initially limited until 31 December 2023. | |
