leadXpro is urgently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory Assistant who will be part of an interdisciplinary team of scientists working on leadXpro proprietary and partnered projects, within a highly collaborative and international environment. Your main role would be to assist the laboratory manager to carry out a variety of tasks critical for the maintenance of the lab. The position can be 40-100%, with flexible working hours possible.

Key tasks and responsibilities

A successful candidate will be expected to work within a dynamic team that values transparency, integrity, reliability and a passion for science to create benefits for patients.

Key duties include:
  • Working under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager
  • Preparing stock solutions and buffers - Preparing and autoclaving media - Managing inventory and restocking consumables
  • Cleaning and organising glassware and other laboratory equipment - Maintaining laboratory equipment, eg. Calibrating pH meters
  • Managing and autoclaving waste
  • Participating in routine cell culture tasks, where appropriate


  • Applicants should preferably have an apprenticeship education and experience working in a laboratory environment, demonstrating a high standard of technical abilities, organization and efficiency.
  • You should have experience with handling chemicals and sterile working.
  • Experience with cell culture is desirable, but not required.
  • You would be working in an international team and good communication in English skills are required.
