  • Equipment Owner / Tool Owner of 3 - 5 tools on the SiC Pilot line - The role will be a mix of maintenance, R&D and manufacturing engineer
  • CMP / Post CMP Scrubber / Implant / EPI / Defect Inspection / Clean / Splitting / Thickness Measurement / Sorter / Flatness Measurement
  • Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple tool sets including, but not limited to CMP, Implant, and/or Cleans.
  • Responsible for managing maintenance activities for his/her tools keeping the pilot line production needs in mind.
  • The candidate will need to become familiar with tool operation, equipment set-up, PM, CM, recipe creation)
  • The Equipment Engineer will work on the tool himself and will work with other technicians and the OEM vendor as needed.
  • The engineer with set up manufacturing procedures (operation, maintenance, return to production etc.)
  • The tool owner will work with other design engineers and/or OEM to modify the tool to achieve SiC project goals when applicable
  • The position will involve becoming proficient in multiple process modules associated with wafer bonding and layer transfer techniques.
  • The candidate will work with process engineer to define process control knobs, out of control reaction plans and experimental design of experiments.
  • The engineer in conjunction with process engineer will also be responsible for creating SPC charts for multiple process modules, running FMEAs
  • The equipment and process engineers will be tasked with developing processes, validating them within the product flow and then transition the processes to a released manufacturing state.
