Leeds University Business School is internationally renowned for the quality of its teaching, its research and its facilities. Our work covers the full spectrum of business disciplines. We teach undergraduate, masters and doctoral students, deliver executive education and consultancy and create new knowledge through our research. The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence and is now seeking to appoint a professor in the field of enterprise who will enhance our international reputation with their research expertise and a track record of ambitious academic leadership. Delivering top quality research outputs that contribute to impact and innovation, you will help us develop a significant international presence and be a key player in our mission to make an exceptional impact on business and society globally through leadership in research and teaching.

In the 2014 research assessment, Leeds University Business School was ranked in the top 10 in the UK for research, reinforcing our position as a leading UK research-intensive business school. The Accounting and Finance Division has been ranked Number 1 in all the major league tables and has consistently achieved high NSS scores.

You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, with experience of leading research programmes which meet international standards of academic excellence, and integrating this research into learning and teaching. You will also have a track record of sustained delivery of ambitious and imaginative academic leadership, including effective team working and collaborative development. In addition, you will have experience of leading research initiatives and developing links with research groups in the UK and internationally.
