Assistant Professor (PGCE International) (part time/fixed term)

£40322 to £49553 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Education seeks to appoint 3 experienced teachers to work on the Post Graduate Certificate in Education International (PGCEi). The PGCEi is a large, innovative and highly respected programme which is taught in a blended model of a face to face induction followed by an online course. The role holders will contribute to the teaching and development of the programme. They will contribute to the School’s research and scholarship activity relevant to international teacher education and/or teaching and learning issues.

Candidates should hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent. They should also have substantive teaching experience in primary and/or secondary schools and the ability to travel internationally.

These posts will be offered on a part time basis and the hours of work are 7.25 per week. The roles are available on a 1 year fixed term basis, start dates will vary.
