Description

The Department of Economics at the University of Bath are seeking Senior Lecturers (Associate Professors) in any area of Economics. You may also be interested in our Lecturer vacancies

We invite applications from all fields, but are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in Applied (Micro-) Econometrics and in Macroeconomics, Finance, Macroeconometrics, Financial Econometrics.

Successful candidates at Senior Lecturer level will possess:

  • a strong record in publishing high quality research and engagement with research grants and/or contracts;
  • evidence of excellent and innovative teaching;
  • the ability to play a leading role in one or more of our five dynamic research groups (see below)
  • a willingness to make active contributions to our specialist research themes: Innovation and Productivity; Governance of Systems and Institutions; Social Determinants of Health; and Sustainable Living.


All candidates are expected to deliver high quality teaching, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to attract and successfully supervise PhD candidates.
