Cleaning Operative vacancies

Estates and Capital Developments

Four posts are available

2 x permanent roles working 15 hours per week 6.00 a.m. - 9.00 a.m. (working 5 days in 7 Monday to Sunday)

1 x Fixed term role (maternity cover) until 1st October 2020 - working 30 hours per week working 6 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. ( working 5 days in 7 Monday to Sunday)

1 x Fixed term role until 24th December 2019 - working 35 hours per week working 12.30 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. ( working 5 days in 7 Monday to Sunday)

Opportunities have arisen within the Estates and Capital Developments department, to work as part of the Cleaning Services team. This recruitment is part of on-going developments within the Cleaning Services team, to enhance and deliver an improved service throughout the University.

Good communication skills are essential in order to understand and comply with health and safety requirements and to assist in completing the required paperwork. The successful candidates must have the ability to work effectively without close supervision as well as being part of a team. Experience in using industrial cleaning equipment and materials would be an advantage, however training will be provided.

Candidates who have submitted an application will be expected to attend an Open Morning on 12th September 2019 which will take place between 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.

Formal interviews will take place on 18th September 2019
