UCL’s newly established Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is seeking for an Associate Professor in Economics. Situated in a globally top university, IIPP is demonstrating impact and influence, including training the next generation of civil servants, bringing together leading global policy-making institutions, and establishing partnerships to address global challenges.
The post holder will support the growth of IIPP through conducting research, teaching, outreach and policy engagement activities in the area, whilst providing senior strategic leadership in the Institute. The post holder will also be required to pursue an independent area of high-impact research in the field economics relevant to IIPP’s research agenda.
The post-holder will have a PhD or substantial expertise and a track record in economics or a related discipline. They will have the skills to work collaboratively across two departments and closely with the Professional Service Team at IIPP. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills for outstanding communication, teaching and attract research funding from multiple sources.
