You may have seen media reports about a global IT outage that is affecting CloudStrike and Microsoft systems. The issue has been caused by a bug in a software update, and is currently affecting IT systems worldwide including transport systems and the NHS.
The UCL ISD estate does not use CloudStrike and we are not aware that it is in use elsewhere in the university, however, some of our third-party suppliers have been affected.
Important: Ridgemount NHS Practice
The Ridgemount NHS Practice , where many UCL students are registered, is experiencing problems with their booking system and can only take emergency appointments at present.Some UCL systems have been impacted, including TalentLink, parcel tracking systems within Logistics, and the LogMeIn chat services.
