MyAppraisal will be launching the week commencing 13 January 2025 for Technical Professionals and Professional Services staff.
For Professorial (Non-Clinical Professors, Professors (Teaching), & Professorial Research Fellows) and Academic, Research, and Teaching staff, we are finalising the development of these appraisal pathways and will confirm a launch date as soon as possible.
For this first year, all those on clinical staff codes will follow the Academic, Research, and Teaching pathway. This does not include Consultant Clinical Academics who should continue using current processes whilst further discovery work is ongoing to better understand their needs for appraisals.

During the week commencing 13 January, all’appraisees for the Professional Services and Technical Professionals pathways will receive an email notification containing a link to start their online appraisal. The appraisal season runs from January to April, so appraisees do not have to start their appraisal as soon as the notification is received.Please note that appraisers will have no actions to complete for their appraisees until they have received a Part A submission.
We’re busy preparing learning and support materials to help you with navigating appraisals at UCL and will make these available on the appraisals SharePoint as soon as they are ready.

We are running 30-minute information sessions ahead of the launch to offer an opportunity for colleagues to find out more about the system and ask any questions they may have.
